Common Finishes

Our Ultraviolet cured finish provides a clean and highly durable clear coat. As a standard, our UV prefinished plywood panels are produced with a 40 sheen levels for satin appearance. Higher sheen levels are available by request. We offer UV finishing as a topcoat on one or both sides of the panels.

Thickness, Size And Finish

We commonly stock 5.2mm (1/4”) UV finished plywood 1 side, 12mm (1/2”) UV finished 1 or 2 sides, 15mm (5/8”) UV finished 1 or 2 sides and 18mm (3/4”) UV finished 1 or 2 sides. Stocking panels come in 4×8, but we also offer a 48.5×96.5 panel on a futures basis.

Glue Types

We offer our prefinished plywood UV top-coated in TSCA Certified glues.

Cores

We produce UV finished White Birch panels in a wide variety of cores from our standard multiply veneer core to high end lamination grade veneer cores. All panels tightly calibrated to ensure exceptional thickness tolerances.

Cabinets, Case goods, End Panels, Store Fixtures, Furniture, Shelving, Entertainment Centers.

Other Species

We also offer UV prefinished plywood in Natural Birch, Red Oak, White Maple, Cherry and Walnut on a futures basis in a variety of thicknesses and grades.

African Mahogany Plywood MADE IN THAILAND

African Mahogany Plywood comes in 4′ x 8′ Sheets available in 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch thickness. The heartwood color is variable, ranging from a very pale pink to a deeper reddish brown, sometimes with streaks of medium to dark reddish brown. Color tends to darken with age.

Alder Plywood MADE IN THAILAND

Alder Plywood is stocked in 4′ x 8′ Sheets available in 1/8 inch, 1/4 inch, 1/2 and 3/4 inch thickness. Reddish brown with small pores & has an even fine straight grain.

Aromatic Cedar plywood MADE IN THAILAND

Aromatic Cedar plywood comes in 4′ x 8′ sheets available in 1/4 inch thickness. Aromatic Cedar plywood has heartwood tends to be a reddish or violet-brown. Sapwood is a pale yellow color, and can be appear throughout the heartwood as streaks and stripes.

Baltic Birch Prefinished Plywood Sheets MADE IN THAILAND

Baltic Birch Prefinished Plywood Sheets are not a specific species of birch, but is a general designation of plywood from Russia and nearby Baltic states (such as Finland). As with any natural wood product, quality can be variable. However, Baltic Birch plywood is generally regarded as being of higher quality than standard birch plywood.

In a nutshell, Baltic Birch Prefinished Plywood Sheets are made entirely from birch plies, with no softwood or filler plies in the center. Furthermore, the plies themselves tend to be much thinner, allowing for more plies for a given thickness, and greater stiffness and stability.

Beech Plywood MADE IN THAILAND

Beech Plywood comes in 4′ x 8′ Sheets available in 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch thickness. The beech plywood we stock is “European Steamed Beech”. The color is pale cream color, sometimes with a pink or brown hue.

Cherry Plywood MADE IN THAILAND

Cherry Plywood comes in 4′ x 8′ Sheets available in 1/8 inch, 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch thickness. The heartwood is a light pinkish brown when freshly cut, darkening to a deeper golden brown with time and upon exposure to light. Sapwood is a pale yellowish color.

Knotty Alder Plywood comes in 4′ x 8′ Sheets available in 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch thickness. Knotty Alder Plywood is reddish brown with small pores & has an even fine straight grain. Tight sound knots visible through out.

Prefinished White Birch Plywood MADE IN THAILAND

Prefinished White Birch Plywood comes in 4′ x 8′ Sheets available in 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch thickness. Prefinished White Birch Plywood has color that tends to be light reddish brown with nearly white sapwood. There is virtually no color distinction between annual growth rings, giving Birch a somewhat dull, uniform appearance.

Red Oak Quarter Sawn Plywood comes in 4′ x 8′ Sheets available in 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch thickness. Red Oak Quarter Sawn Plywood has a light to medium reddish-brown color, though there can be a fair amount of variation in color.
